Within the past decade, more and more research findings have been published regarding vaccine delivery experiences and missed opportunities for vaccination. At the same time as Canadian health guidelines and practices incorporate these findings, clinics and pharmacies have had to adapt to rapid mass-immunization campaigns against COVID-19 and influenza.

This guide on vaccination in Canada complements institutional training with the current best evidence on how to deliver vaccines. Clinician-specific guidance is offered on how to talk to patients before, during, and after the procedure, manage adverse events, maintain hygiene to prevent infection, and carry out injections.

This video has been made possible by an unrestricted education grant from Seqirus.
