Who are we?

Immunize Canada is national coalition of non-governmental, professional, health, government and private sector organizations with a specific interest in promoting the understanding and use of vaccines recommended by the National Advisory Committee on Immunization (NACI). The Immunize Canada Secretariat is run by a dedicated team at the Canadian Public Health Association.

Meet this year’s NIAM 2023 ambassadors! 

For National Immunization Awareness Month 2023, our ambassadors are Andrea, Neil Salinas, and Dr. Vivien Brown.

Andrea is a meningitis B advocate who nearly lost her daughter Chloe to meningitis B while Chloe was at university.

Neil is an HPV vaccine advocate who lost his sister Alison to HPV cancer.

Dr. Vivien Brown is our healthcare professional advocate encouraging all Canadian to get caught up on their vaccines.
