Recommendations
In Canada, the National Advisory Committee on Immunization (NACI) (external link) reviews the best current available scientific knowledge and publishes immunization recommendations in the
Canadian Immunization Guide. This 300+ page document and updates can be viewed or downloaded from the Public Health Agency of Canada website (external link).
Governments and health care providers use the Canadian Immunization Guide and other NACI Statements (external link) when making their own recommendations.
Recommendations may vary among provinces and territories.
Check with your local public health office for up-to-date recommendations for your region.
